David Hayes - Director of Technology Infrastructure

Hayes was reputable in the Phoenix Engineering community for 15 years contribution employed by and consulting for many fortune 500 businesses including Charles Schwab, SAIC, CHW, Motorola, ATT, and GTE. In his most recent corporate involvement, Hayes performed management functions in the design and implementation of Tier I financial database and business critical application load share and failover between multiple datacenters supporting on-line stock trading.

As a SAP Basis Administrator, Hayes collaborated with Big 5 consultants in the startup effort for the design of data center facilities, computing and networking infrastructure automating business functions and materials management for 100+ West Coast hospitals. As a systems engineer for Motorola, Hayes supporting secure systems and networks for cellular phone and military defense projects. Out of college, Hayes performed software modeling and simulation of preliminary ASICs for Bell Labs.

Hayes graduated University of Iowa with BSEE and attended the MBA program at the University of Phoenix.

Linda Cook - Senior Marketing Consultant

Linda is a writer, editor, journalist and marketing/public relations specialist. She writes, and has written, websites, brochures, video and CD-ROM scripts, ads, commercials, corporate presentations and instruction videos, many for Fortune 500 companies. In addition, she has been a reporter and columnist at the Quad-City Times newspaper in Davenport, Iowa, since 1985.

In 2002, Linda earned her master of criminal justice degree from St. Ambrose University. Her thesis is about how women criminals and police officers are portrayed in contemporary film. She teaches criminal justice at Kaplan University, Davenport. Since 1987, Linda has reviewed movies for the Quad-City Times. Since 1992, she has reviewed movies on NBC affiliate KWQC-TV, and also appears weekly on STAR 93.5 FM. She sees about 400 movies annually, and has reviewed more than 7,000 movies in her career. She is a voting member of the Broadcast Film Critics Association, and annually attends the group’s Critics’ Choice Awards that are nationally broadcast live from Los Angeles.

Barbara Schneff - Director of Marketing and Sales

Schneff grew up in the Quad Cities and rose to the level of vice president in a third-generation family-owned retail business that served 27 years as a major contributor to the community. Her responsibilities included sales and marketing serving as the department head of advertising for TV, radio and print. Community service always was one of Barbara’s primary concerns. She is a member of the Downtown Davenport Association, DavenportOne, Rotary, PEO, and is a major contributor to numerous charitable foundations.

Mike Leinart - Senior Design Staff

Mike brings a broad array of qualifications to the Thinformation team. After studying computer and electrical engineering at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign for three years, he enrolled in the film production program at the New School University in New York, where he familiarized himself with advanced techniques for manipulating filmed content. He returned to the Quad Cities to complete his education at Augustana College. From there he went to work at WVIK, a National Public Radio affiliate, as a reporter, news broadcaster and sound recording engineer. These experiences have helped him form a complete set of skills vital for success in the emerging field of dynamic digital signage.

Mark Riedesel - Senior Design Staff

Mark is a lifelong Iowa resident and has lived in the Quad City area for more than 10 years. He comes to Thinformation with 5+ years of experience in live television news production, and TV-ready content design.

Many of Mark's personal interests, such as software development and computer graphics enhance the effectiveness of his role as part of the Thinformation team. He is experienced in the deployment and maintenance of Linux and Windows operating systems. In addition, Mark enjoys airbrushing, contributing to the open-source software community, and maintaining his personal website that showcases his original works of art.

Ian Strathdee - Senior Design Staff

Ian comes to Thinformation as a recent graduate with a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration, emphasizing management information systems from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.  During his studies, Ian was employed as an administrative consultant proficient in computer hardware diagnostics, operating systems, data security and networking. Complementing his background, Ian's skill sets are in Adobe Flash, Adobe Premiere Pro, Blender, and various vector graphic editors.

Justin Hawker - Senior Design Staff

Justin comes to Thinformation with a background in development and sales of websites supporting medical and law practices. In the past, Justin has worked closely on projects with clients all over the country. He attended several national tradeshows to represent his company as a technical adviser. Proficiency in Macromedia Flash, Director and Dreamweaver as well as Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator are strengths Justin brings to Thinformation. Justin attended Marycrest University and finished a Bachelor of Arts degree in graphic design from Ashford University.
