The public is invited to see how Thinformation‘s creative communications can be used in business and educational settings. Visitors can see Thinformation signage in action across the street at the Bier Stube.
The company will unveil the installation of its unique Network Operated Digital Signage (NODS) system. Utilizing this innovative technology, Thinformation provides clients with dynamic digital signs that serve as advertising/communications tools and educational resources.
“We call it ‘living signage,’” said David Hayes, of Davenport, Thinformation’s founder and director of technology infrastructure.
NODS was designed by Thinformation to provide customers with a limitless range of commercial applications with a quick, reliable and easy-to-use system for managing content on digital billboards and in-house, closed-circuit televisions. The Bier Stube locations in Davenport and Moline present their customers with high-definition video menus, instantly updated calendars of events, video and brilliantly rendered three-dimensional animations.
Thinformation’s NODS program allows customers to modify content on their displays as frequently as desired, providing up-to-the-minute communications to their patrons. Advertising spots sold on displays to outside businesses generate immediate revenue for the Bier Stube and any other business that utilizes Thinformation’s technology.
“As ultra-thin LCD, LED and projection displays continue to become more affordable, it is now possible for even small businesses to utilize digital signage,” Hayes says. “Now, sales and market penetration can expand more quickly than ever before. Informative audio and video presentations can be delivered to vibrant displays within a store and at remote locations.”
“Our digital signs are perfect for banks, healthcare providers, real estate agents, car dealerships, restaurants, bars and nightclubs, shopping centers or trade shows,” Hayes says. “Our NODS system makes it easy and affordable for our clients to use Thinformation signage, and to control that signage from anywhere in the world.”
Thinformation also develops and provides website content and touch-screen kiosks. The Thinformation team has expertise in high-definition photography, video editing, animation, software development, system administration and networking.
Hayes, a Bettendorf native, served the Phoenix community for 15 years as a senior systems engineer and consultant for Fortune 500 businesses including Charles Schwab, SAIC, CHW, Motorola, ATT and GTE. In his career, Hayes supported secure systems and networks for cellular phone, military defense projects, healthcare and financial industries. Hayes is an electrical and computer engineering graduate of the University of Iowa and attended the MBA program at the University of Phoenix.
